Perimenopausal Whittling

Kate Andrews

The cycle of bleeding is a practise of honouring our inner landscape more than our culture 'allows' us to.
Perimenopause is a change as seismic as adolescence and there is barely any education around it, yet it can last a decade.
It's time we embrace what is natural instead of pushing it away or looking for a magic pill to 'fix' us.

 We are not broken.

There is no word for the phase between MOTHER AND CRONE. My word is UNIFY. These are the perimenopausal years and they are when a woman's hard won wisdom has seeded and is bearing fruit. When we honour ourselves we create change. Acceptance, education & compassion are the way forward.

Please bring your whittling knife if you have one!

Wild Creative is run by art and eco therapist, wildschooling mother of two and kids yoga teacher (in training) Kate Andrews. She has created numerous workshops and programs supporting human beings of all kinds with their mental/emotional/physical and spiritual health utilising the innate wisdom of nature, movement, art therapy, music and yoga.

Kate brings a grounded spirituality to all her work, riding the line between taking a deep dive and needing to get up through the night and rising at 5am for small people and their deep presence requiring needs.
